Art Works

Art - Kinetic

James Cattell has a fascination with old scientific equipment and pre-industrial automata, so he incorporates moving elements into his work where-ever possible.

    Art - Studio Painting

When-ever possible, James enjoys time in his studio to reflect and produce paintings, generally oil on canvas, that convey a dream-like mix of thoughts and images.

      Art - Studio Sculpture

James works in a crowded studio surrounded by dusty memorabilia, which he likes to refashion into sculptures - often kinetic, and always inviting interaction with the viewer.

      Art - Ceramic Works

James finds clay a rewarding material to incorporate into both his smaller scale studio pieces and larger landscape works. We find it is a particularly good material to use in community workshops as almost every participant can create something satisfying.

      Art - Community Art Projects

Ideally, the community will be involved at the design stage of a public space, and where possible, participate in producing elements for inclusion into the scheme. We hope that such interactivity will provide a sense of ownership and guardianship of community spaces.
